Frostburg Museum
Houses
artifacts and displays illustrating Frostburg's history and
the life of its people, together with resource materials for
people doing research. It is located in Hill Street School,
the only remaining example of public architecture from the
1890s in this county. 69 Hill Street.

The Old Depot
Built by
the Cumberland and Pennsylvania Railroad Company in 1891
as a passenger and freight station. Two passenger trains
ran daily from Cumberland to Piedmont via Frostburg until
1942, when passenger service was discontinued. Abandoned
in 1973, the building was renovated and reopened in 1989
with a striking restaurant and shops to accommodate the
public and passengers arriving on the Western Maryland
Scenic Railroad steam passenger train. Depot Street.

Palace Theatre
A nickelodeon, a theater
where the public could view short films for a nickel,
stood on Main Street as early as 1907. The Palace Theatre
Company bought the building in 1912, remodeled it as a
movie theater, and operated it until 1981. 33 E. Main
